AUSTIN, Texas — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 9, 2013 — The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) will be presenting five Distinguished Service awards at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) to be held in Austin, TX from June 2-6. The awards will be presented at the Si2 25th Anniversary Luncheon Celebration on June 3, 12-1:30 PM in Room 9ABC in the Austin Convention Center. This luncheon is free of charge. The awards will be presented to John Darringer, Rahul Goyal, Jim Hogan, Mark Templeton, and Scott Peterson. Besides providing many years of exemplary service in support of Si2’s mission, each recipient has played a unique role in Si2’s history that significantly influenced the organization’s present-day success. Their leadership has guided many of the standards created at Si2 which have had significant impact on the semiconductor and EDA industries. All of the recipients will be in attendance at the luncheon event and can share their individual experiences and insights with the attendees.
