IDV Solutions debuts Visual Command Center 3.0 at ASIS 2013

September 11, 2013 --  IDV Solutions will showcase Visual Command Center 3.0, the latest release of its physical security and risk visualization (PSRV) software, at ASIS International’s 59th Annual Seminar and Exhibits at McCormick Place in Chicago September 24-26.

Visual Command Center enables organizations to identify, evaluate, and take action against threats to their assets, including buildings, people, and operations. It unites data from disparate sources—Web feeds, internal and external systems, and physical security devices—into a consolidated real-time view that includes a map and timeline. It alerts organizations when their assets may be threatened by risk events, ranging from severe weather to disease outbreaks or acts of terrorism.

The new release includes enhancements to inbound alerting, improvements to “tours”(cycling visualizations of global, regional, and metro views), expanded messaging, notification, and reporting features, and time-based enhancements. Also available are new connections to travel management solutions and expanded travel security and medical risk data.

“ASIS provides us with a valuable opportunity to hear directly from security operations teams,” said George Siegle, Director of Marketing and product marketing manager for Visual Command Center, IDV Solutions. “It gives us a better understanding of the security and business issues they face, and allows us to demonstrate the ways Visual Command Center can address them, by improving workflows and increasing situational awareness in security operations centers.”

The IDV Solutions team will demonstrate Visual Command Center 3.0 at booth #4400 throughout the ASIS event. For more information about Visual Command Center 3.0 at ASIS, please visit http://www.idvsolutions.com/events/
