Zimmerman comes to Silicon Image from Texas Instruments, where he established and built the highly-successful DLP TV business. Zimmerman amassed a wealth of experience in 23 years at Texas Instruments. As general manager of the DLP TV business, he grew revenues from zero in 2002 to several hundred million dollars in 2005. Zimmerman took the helm of DLP TV after successfully starting the DLP Home Theater business and building a market share of more than 50 percent. His prior roles held at Texas Instruments include general manager of the DLP Large Venue business and manager of engineering. Dale forged his career at Texas Instruments through a variety of roles in R&D, product development, program management and business development.
