At this year's event new products including RTAX-DSP FPGAs will be presented and Actel's next-generation reprogrammable flash FPGAs designed for space will be previewed. In addition, Actel will also discuss the latest information on reliability and qualification of RTAX-S/SL and RT ProASIC®3 FPGAs. Actel's RT ProASIC3 FPGAs are the first devices to offer designers of space-flight hardware a radiation-tolerant, reprogrammable, nonvolatile logic integration vehicle. Actel's RTAX-DSP FPGAs provide a flexible alternative to ASICs for the integration of complex DSP functions. Further, its nonvolatile, radiation-tolerant (RT) programming technology has no requirement for external code-storage devices and requires no mitigation of upsets in its configuration memory, unlike SRAM-based FPGAs. Both device families offer designers of space applications superior advantages due to their high reliability and radiation tolerance.
