Hagerman & Company Announces New President, CEO – Sandy Hagerman

28-Year Autodesk Reseller Committed to Continued Success

August 28, 2012 - Mt. ZION, IL. Today Hagerman & Company announced that Sandy Hagerman has assumed the position of President and CEO.  Sandy has worked beside her husband, Dennis Hagerman, since the Company was formed 28 years ago.  Sandy was the Company’s first sales representative, and upon expansion of the Company, was named to Vice President of Sales.  She has worked closely with Hagerman customers and vendors throughout her tenure at Hagerman.

“Hagerman & Company has been one of Autodesk’s most successful partners for a long time, and we are happy to see Sandy stepping in as President and CEO,” said Bill Griffin, vice president, Worldwide Channel Sales at Autodesk.  “With their recent specializations in PLM 360, Simulation and Factory Design, they continue to demonstrate the highest level of commitment and expertise in the industry, and their customers will continue to benefit from this under Sandy’s leadership.”

Dennis Hagerman, former President and CEO of Hagerman & Company, died August 1, 2012 after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Dennis’s entrepreneurial career began in the 1970’s when he earned his CPA and opened an accounting firm.  In 1984 he became interested in the software industry and noticed that a new technology, Computer Aided Design (CAD), was rapidly gaining momentum.  That year Dennis founded Hagerman & Company and became an Autodesk authorized reseller.

Since then Dennis worked diligently to grow the company.  He opened satellite offices, expanding Hagerman’s geographical reach.  Originally focused solely on the manufacturing market, he continued to expand the business by targeting new markets including AEC, civil, government, industrial design and process plant.  He also chose to broaden the Company’s offerings with additional solutions including CAM software, design automation software and 3D Printers.

In addition to software sales, Dennis always placed utmost importance on the quality of Hagerman service offerings including training, support and consultation services.  He employed some of the finest solutions engineers, consultants and support staff in the industry. Hagerman has built a reputation on quality service, and today the Company is one of the largest Autodesk resellers in the United States with 21 offices in the Midwest, South and California.

Bill Griffin remarked, "Dennis was a recognized leader amongst our channel partners. From Mt. Zion IL, he built a thriving business that serviced customers across the US. On a personal level, his passing will be felt by many at Autodesk, our channel partners, and customers."

Sandy Hagerman has posted a letter to Hagerman customers and business partners at http://hnc.hagerman.com/Guest_Book/Default.aspx, and a guest book is available at that link for those who wish to leave a message.
