On behalf of the team at DesignCon, we hope you had a happy holiday season and are enjoying a healthy new year. We have some important and exciting updates to share regarding our 2021 event.
As we continue to plan for a productive and safe in-person event at the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR accredited San Jose McEnery Convention Center, we are proactively rescheduling DesignCon to August 16-18, 2021, previously slated for April 13-15. Registration for the in-person event will open this spring.
The move to August 2021 allows for DesignCon to allocate additional space at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, now taking the full venue for its ever-growing technical conference and allowing for even more professionals to learn from the experts who present each year.
August also continues to provide ample space on the DesignCon expo floor, allowing for increased exhibiting space, extra seating in Chiphead Theater, the addition of a Career Zone, and more.
We continue to plan to welcome attendees from the Drive World and Embedded Systems Conferences, bringing together more engineering professionals in automotive electronics and intelligence and embedded hardware, software, and IoT. Watch DesignCon's conference page for updates as we move toward August 2021.
In the meantime, we know that innovation does not stop. DesignCon will offer its second webinar series this April, focused on such timely topics as PCBs, power integrity, and automotive electronics. Review our first webinar series here and watch your email for updates on this spring series.
We understand how much effort goes into preparing for an event like DesignCon, and we hope that this proactive move ensures enough time to adjust your plans. In the meantime, we’ll see you at DesignCon’s webinar series this spring and look forward to sharing more about those events and our August 2021 in-person event as planning progresses.
