On October 13, 2003, StarCore announced the SC1200 and SC1400 families of licensable DSP platforms for communications products that require high performance processing capabilities and low power consumption, such as 2.5G and 3G handsets, networking infrastructure and consumer electronics products such as PDAs. Industry leading companies that have licensed StarCore's DSP technology include Infineon and Motorola, and StarCore's customers have plans to introduce more than 20 StarCore DSP-based products to the market by 2005.
