Excellicon Products Adopted by NSITEXE, Inc. to Automate Timing Constraint Development Methodology

(NSITEXE), one of the top leading Japanese IP developers specialized in processor IPs, has licensed Excellicon Constraints products. Excellicon products are expected to speed delivery schedules in NSITEXE semiconductor production methodology.

Generation and validation of constraints is a challenge spread across the entire design flow, from front-end to back-end and final tape-out. Project managers are often challenged by the complexity of timing requirements for Today’s SOCs. The result is many iterations and delays in delivery schedules resulting from challenging timing specifications. Excellicon products focus on reducing the challenge of multiple iterations between design and implementation teams resolving design timing closure issues. Even necessary tasks associated with development of IPs, such as checking equivalency of timing constraints between various layers of the design, or different versions of IP prove to be next to impossible to achieve manually. The products address the challenges faced by designers regarding timing constraints (SDC) design and validation, which are often the cause for schedule delays. By using the Excellicon tools, NSITEXE can automate its timing constraints flow used for logical synthesis, placement and routing, and static timing analysis of design solutions as well as eliminate unnecessary design cycles in order to achieve higher levels of accuracy and efficiency in delivery schedules.
