Enabling Critical Verification Tasks
Today's analog and RF design teams can no longer perform many critical verification tasks with traditional SPICE or digital fastSPICE tools due to insufficient accuracy, performance, and capacity. Examples include: top-level DC connectivity checks, top-level performance simulations, verification with realistic package inductance and transmission line effects, extensive corner case and Monte Carlo analysis, post-layout simulation of critical sub-circuits such as PLLs and Sigma-Delta ADCs, and periodic analysis of multi-block RF circuits. Analog FastSPICE and RF FastSPICE enable design teams to perform such tasks, thereby substantially reducing design time, design risk, and overdesign.
