GigPeak Announces Introduction of Complete 200Gbps Chipset Ethernet Product Portfolio for Short Reach and Long Reach Datacenter Applications

SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — March 21, 2017GigPeak, Inc. (NYSE MKT: GIG), a leading innovator of semiconductor ICs and software solutions for high-speed connectivity and high-quality video compression over the network and the cloud, today announced the release of complete chipset portfolio for 28Gbps PAM4 200Gbps-based solutions for short reach (SR) and long reach (LR) Ethernet applications for inter- and intra-data center connectivity.

“With an already dominating market share delivering the current generation of 40Gbps active optical cables (AOCs) and transceivers for datacenter connectivity, GigPeak is pleased to announce that we have started sampling chipsets for 200Gbps short reach and long reach Ethernet applications for inter- and intra-data center connectivity. The chipsets comprise: 1x and 4x short reach TIA receivers (HXR14100 and HXR14400), VCSEL drivers (HXT14100 and HXT14400), 1x and 4x long reach DML drivers (HXT44100 and HXT44400), complemented by the proven clock and data recovery (CDR) technology represented by the 2x and 4x CDR/Retimer (HXC44200 and HXC44400),” said Uday Poosarla, Director of Datacom Marketing at GigPeak.
