It provides a more detailed packaged history, used in dry packing of moisture-sensitive electronic components, than a traditional reversible Type 1 humidity indicator card. Its 60% non-reversible indicator spot provides a clear permanent visual signal that moisture-sensitive devices, such as SMDs, or PCBs, have been exposed to humidity for a prolonged period.
