CHIPIt(R) - Nothing Verifies Faster
ProDesign unveils V5 generation of CHIPit ASIC Prototyping Systems

Three new CHIPit ASIC Verification Systems - the Copper, Iridium and Platinum Edition V5 plus a complete new software environment for design implementation and debugging

ProDesign, leading supplier of high-speed ASIC and SoC verification platforms, will launch for the first time to the public the complete new CHIPit V5 series, during the 44th Design Automation Conference June 04 - 08 in San Diego, CA.

The CHIPit V5 series of ASIC Prototyping platforms provide verification and validation throughout the SoC and ASIC project life cycle. Based on the latest Xilinx Virtex 5 FPGA technology and an integrated set of tools with strong debugging capabilities, the modular CHIPit family offer design engineers unprecedented speed and flexibility to validate algorithm performance, verify hardware implementation, and assist in hardware/software Co-verification to reduce the verification time dramatically.

Highlights of the CHIPit V5 series:
  • Scalable product family from 1 up to 21 FPGAs, which can handle up to 28 M ASIC gates
  • Best FPGA interconnection flexibility through patented 3D Switch Routing Tool
  • User guided flow for easiest design implementation and system handling
  • Integrated software which spreads the design over many FPGAs by knowing all hardware opportunities based on the flexible interconnect architecture of CHIPit
  • Support of several verification modes like Co-Simulation, Transaction Based Co-Modeling and In-Circuit Emulation up to 200 MHz
  • Incl. patented UMRBus Communication System for easiest communication, debugging and high-speed regression tests
