Magillem and Docea Power sign a partnership agreement: for a "power aware" platform description based on IEEE1685

Magillem continues to build its reputation in the development and utilization of IP-XACT, IEEE 1685. They previously contributed work in the OCP-IP to define a proprietary, but open to use, extension to the standard schema in order to support the OCP interface. As it was not general purpose but only relevant to users of OCP, that was the right approach. In this case, Magillem with Docea are aiming for a wide, general audience so their proposal would serve initially as an add-on extension for users, before possible addition to the IEEE standard itself.
