Agilent Technologies ADS 2014 Delivers Most Significant Enhancements to Date, Dramatically Improving Design Productivity and Efficiency

Agilent has created another monster, producing the most complex answer to a problem that did not exist... a new file structure. It is now a convoluted process of copying libraries and cells into existing libraries so that you can share a design. The old file structure did not have any issues, so Agilent created one.
Errors and crashes occur in layout editor (still one of the worst in the industry), schematic capture, and relying on a software language that is not supported, or understood, by most of the world (AEL). The article fails to mention that anyone using this product creates a design 7.3 times slower than an engineer creating the same design in AWR.
