Role & Responsibility

The incumbent is expected to have...
Clarity & understanding on switching systems
Working knowledge on 3G 1X Packet Data, ATM switching,EVDO, ECP, BTS, FMP etc.
Basic understanding on Intelligent Networks
Apt on IS41, IS826, IS771, ISUP, TCAP Standards & protocol analysis
Network Architecture Design, Engineering & Implementation,
Routing /Dialing Plan analysis & implementation,
Software Updates/Upgrades/Retrofits,
Network Problem Diagnosis & Troubleshooting,
Network Outage Recovery and Root Cause Analysis
System Auditing, Network Performance analysis & management
Database Configuration & management
Deployment, Integration & Commissioning of networks.
New Feature / product evaluation, testing & implementation.
Working knowledge on 3rd Party Product Integration (e.g. SHLR, OTAF, IN, VMS, CMS) would be an added advantage.

Skills Essential:

Worked in CDMA/TDMA/GSM/Wireline environment.
Experience / knowledge on 5ESS is preferable.
Experience in maintenance / technical support of Switching systems
Very good understanding on Telecom Signalling
Have good knowledge & aptitude for new emerging technologies specifically on 3G front.
