About using NE5532 as a transimpedance amplifier

As shown in the figure, it is planned to use NE5532 as an optical communication receiving front-end transimpedance amplifier. It is found that there is no input (when the photodiode is not soldered), the two pins (1IN-) have a sine wave of about 700mv, and the one pin (1OUT) has about 1.12V Waveform (with distortion, as shown). Why is this happening? In addition, do the transimpedance amplifiers require any op amps?
