Hi little guy. That article must have been written around or before 2008, back when Altium had a Nexar named product and Mr Martin was still CEO. The good news is Altium have moved on from thinking FPGA are going to rule the world. In the last few years, they have been back on track, servicing the current customer needs. PCB and Schematic tools. On top of that, the package price is much lower now than it was when the article was written.
